The Saddle Bronc World Standings have had one thing in common since 2016. Ryder Wright being inside the Top 5 at the end of the regular season. His PRCA career began that year, and he has won two World Titles and finished inside the Top 5 every year.

This season is no different, as Wright heads to the NFR in the No. 4 position with $161,920 He has plenty of ground to make up as Sage Newman is in first place and has made over $250,000 on the year.

Here is a look at Wright 2022 highlights and biggest wins.


Rodeo Houston, $12,000

Wright had a great showing at Rodeo Houston in early March. He started off the rodeo with three straight round wins, which included a 91-point ride on Border Town in Round 3. It was lining up to be an even bigger win for Wright, but he failed to place in Round 4 and placed third in Round 5.

Brad Gjermundson Extreme Broncs, $10,166

Wright started off his 2022 season with a big showing at the Brad Gjermundson Extreme Broncs thanks to a big ride in the Finals with a 91-point round winning ride.


Xtreme Broncs Finals, 91.5 Points

Ryder was paired up with Straight Jacket and it did not disappoint. Wright would finish second at the Finals with a 91.5-point ride. He earned over $5,700 at the rodeo.

Canby Rodeo, 90.5 Points

Wright won the Canby Rodeo with a 90.5-point ride on Redon Acres. The win earned him $4,597. He was 2.5 points better than Sage Newman, Kolby Wanchuk and brother Stetson Wright, who all went 88.


Farm City Pro Rodeo, 90 Points

Wright won the one-header in Hermiston, Oregon after going 90 points on Calgary Stampede’s Zoaria Hills. He won over $7,000 with the win.

Lion Dixie Roundup, 89.5 Points

In what would be one of his final rides of the season, Wright went 89.5 points to win the Lion Dixie Roundup. He edged out Lefty Holman who went 87.5 points.
