Ryder Wright is just 23-years-old and he is now the only saddle bronc rider ever to win two World Championships and two championships at RFD-TV’s The American.

Wright won the Gold Buckle in 2020 in dazzling fashion by breaking the NFR Average record with 876.50 points on 10.

He followed up his performance at Globe Life Field in December with not one, but two bronc rides of 88 or more points inside AT&T Stadium Sunday. First, he was 88.50 points to win the eight-man Short Go and in the Shootout, he was 91.25 on on Andrews Rodeo’s All or Nothin, finishing more than four points clear of brother Stetson to win the $100,000 prize.

“This is awesome, all of us cowboys appreciate these guys pulling through and having this rodeo,” Wright said. “It means a lot, with all of the stuff that’s going on right now.”
