Ryan Jarrett Wins Back to Back All-Around Titles in Guymon

Ryan Jarrett is coming off his second straight All-Around Title in Guymon and credits it to the environment at the rodeo.

“It’s outside, a big arena, a fun rodeo atmosphere... it’s a cowboy kind of rodeo.”

Jarrett won the all-around after competing in tie-down roping and team roping. He normally doesn’t enter team roping events, but he always makes sure to in Guymon.

“I enjoy Guymon, always have, it makes it a little different roping... It is just a cool rodeo.”

Jarrett finished second in the average behind the number one in the world Shane Hanchey in tie-down roping. On Sunday Jarrett won a round with an 8.1-second run which boosted him in the all-around title race for the rodeo.

The rodeo was big for Jarret’s world standings as well as he now sits in seventh place.
