Ruger Piva is heading to his first Wrangler NFR in December and Bulls in the Ballpark offered him the perfect tune-up over the weekend. He rode Record Rack’s Viper for 90 points and a second-place finish at the two-day event.
“Finally got that monkey off of my back and made the NFR, it’s kind of become a little more fun and not as stressful anymore and it’s just really showing in my riding, I feel like I’m riding better than I ever have,” he said.
Piva is No. 12 in the 2021 World Standings with $98,268. For his 90-point ride, he won $8,108 toward the 2022 World Standings on Saturday night.
