Rowdy Parrott moves into Top 15 in PRCA Steer Wrestling World Standings

Rowdy Parrott entered the weekend in 19th place in the PRCA Steer Wrestling World Standings but a win at the Horse Heaven Round-Up has moved him into 15th.

“It’s a huge relief (to move up in the standings), but I can’t back off now,” he said. “Hopefully things keep going my way and we’ll be there (NFR) in December.”

Parrott, a 2017 Wrangler NFR qualifier, won a total of $9,000 in Kennewick, which was $3,200 more than any other bulldogger. He also finished second at the Kitsap Stampede in Bremerton, Washington over the weekend and that came with a $3,659 check.
