T Parker won nearly $12,000 for his first place finish at the Lawton Xtreme Bulls event over the weekend, the most the 19-year-old has ever earned at a professional rodeo in his young career.
Parker was marked 89.5 points on Frontier Rodeo’s Bad John to beat out a talented field in the one-header. Finishing second was 2021 Resistol Rookie of the Year and NFR qualifier Creek Young and seven-time World Champion Sage Kimzey was third.
The win, Parker’s fourth of the 2023 season, brought him from No. 10 to No. 6 in the PRCA World Standings.
Parker is riding 32 percent of his bulls for an average score of 83.3 points in the 2023 season.
