It was a two-fer for this week’s Roughstock Athlete of the Week Ky Hamilton.

The bull rider was the champion of two rodeos and now has five wins overall this season and four PRCA Playoff Series wins. So far, there have been just 20 PRCA Playoff Rodeos and the No. 1 man in the world has won more of them than any other bull rider. He was also the first bull rider to be named Roughstock Athlete of the Week multiple times this season.

The weekend got off to a great start for Hamilton with a 91.5-point ride at the Ute Valley Stampede (Colorado). The ride, which was Hamilton’s second 90-point ride of the season, won him the rodeo and a check of $3,800.

Hamilton had an even bigger win coming at the Sisters Rodeo. There, he was marked 89.5 points on Stand By Me of Corey & Lange. Hamilton beat out Jordan Hansen’s 87.5-point ride for the win, which earned him over $5,000.

This season, Hamilton has amassed $132,848 and leads the PRCA World Standings by about $14,000 over reigning World Champion Stetson Wright.
