California cowboy Clayton Biglow made some monumental moves in his home state over the weekend as he added rodeo wins to his name and catapult from No. 12 to No. 5 in the PRCA World Standings.
Biglow’s success started at the Lakeside Rodeo where he set the pace in Performance 1 with an 85.5-point ride on Western Rodeo’s Unforgiven which carried him through to secure the win and earn a check for over $2,200.
The Springville Sierra Rodeo was next on the list for Biglow and he notched yet another first place finish with an 85-point ride on Four Star Rodeo’s Brown Sugar to pull a check for $940.
Biglow saved the best for last as he claimed the championship title in Clovis, California with an 87.5-point ride in the Sunday Matinee where he matched up with C5 Rodeo’s She-La. The Clovis Rodeo was Biglow’s most lucrative win of the California run thus far adding $10,194 to his earnings.
Biglow’s success earned him about $14,000 for the weekend and also the title of The Cowboy Channel’s Roughstock Athlete of the Week.
