Chad Rutherford had a weekend full of success winning one rodeo and placing at two more making him your Roughstock Athlete of the Week.

Rutherford got it all started in a big way at the Will Rogers Stampede in Claremore, Oklahoma. He matched up with an old friend, Pete Carr Pro Rodeo’s Night Bells, to make a massive 90-point ride, take an early lead and hold on to it. He cashed in almost $2,000 from this win alone.

From there, Rutherford placed fourth at the Bandera Pro Rodeo on Rafter G Rodeo’s Memory Maker and sixth at the Hood County Stampede aboard Stace Smith Pro Rodeo’s Disco Biscuit.

Rutherford is inching closer to the Top 10 with every win. He is currently the No. 11 ranked bareback rider in the World.
