It was a huge week for nine-time NFR qualifier Caleb Bennett as he won three rodeos, placed in two more and brought in a little more than $12,500 over the weekend to jump into the Top 5 and earn Roughstock Athlete of the Week Honors.
All three of the rodeos Bennett won were one-headers and all three paid more than $2,000. He was 86 at the Yellowstone River Round-Up (Montana), 85 at the Northwest Montana Fair and Rodeo and 89.5 points to win the Gooding Pro Rodeo, which was his highest score and biggest check ($4,371) of the weekend.
Bennett also placed second at the Fallon County Fair and Rodeo (Montana) with 86.5 points and fifth at the Caldwell Night Rodeo (Idaho).
The Montana native has now won 12 rodeos this season and half of them have come in his home state.
