Rookie Breakaway Roper Hali Williams Conquers Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo to Move on to Semifinals

Rookie breakaway roper Hali Williams broke out in Round 1 of the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, but she still ended up in the money. She bounced back in Round 2 of Bracket 7 by winning it with a 2.0-second run to cinch her spot in the Semifinals at one of the biggest rodeos of the year.

“Man, I had to trust my horse. Yesterday I was a little nervous and I thought about this run for along time. I went all summer last year trying to make these rodeos and I can say as the first time I got a little nervous backing in the box last night so I just had to trust that I could do it and he figured it out,” she said.

It is great equine partners like Williams’ Redlight that make rodeoing what it is. We will see this rookie duo come Semifinals along with Joey Williams.
