Despite cancelations in Fort Worth and Denver, RodeoHouston Executive Director Chris Boleman says they are in the process of planning a full show.
“We felt like it was necessary for us to go ahead and make an announcement to let our folks know of our intent, which is to plan a full show for 2021,” he said. “As all of us know, planning anything right now, is something that you have to do in multiple ways.”
In order to have a rodeo, RodeoHouston promoting #StaySafeForRodeo, which encourages people around Houston to wear a mask and wash their hands so the event can be held in March of 2021.
“This isn’t political for us,” Boleman said. “We want to do what’s right, so that we can do what’s best for our community to ensure our No. 1 priority is a safe and healthy rodeo in 2021.”
