Like Fort Worth and San Antonio, RodeoHouston is also a bracket style rodeo.
In Houston, all of the contestants in each event will be split into five Super Series groups, where they will compete in three performances in a row. The four contestants with the most money in each Super Series advance to the Semifinals.
The 20 Semifinalists will be split into two performances with the Top 4 each night advancing to the Championship Round. Those eight competitors will be joined by two wild cards in each event. Like San Antonio, the Wild Card Round is after the Semifinals and is only for those who made the semis but did not advance.
The Top 10 in each event will then ride in the Championship with the Top 4 moving to a winner-take-all Shootout Final. Each event champion wins $50,000 and the total payout is expected to be close to $2 million
