Four-time World Champion Rocky Patterson was named the 2022 Steer Roping Champion at the Will Rogers Stampede in Claremore, Oklahoma.
Patterson has been very successful in the past at the Will Rogers Stampede and continues that success after placing in Round 2 and winning the average with a 36.3 on 3 head.
“I think everyone that rodeos has places that they do good and I think it has a lot to do with your frame of mind. This committee goes above and beyond every year.” Rocky said.
Rocky has qualified for the Steer Roping Finals 27-times and says he is competing this year but is focusing on his son, Cole Patterson, who is currently sitting at No. 4 in the World.
