Riley Webb Advances to the Semi-Finals in Fort Worth

Riley Webb is just 18 years old, but don’t let his youth fool you. He is as good as advertised. Webb qualified for the FWSSR thanks to winning his hometown rodeo which happened to be a qualifier for the FWSSR. After stubbing his toe in Round 1, Webb came back to win Round 2 after stopping the clock at 8.2 seconds.

WEBB’S 8.2 SECOND RUN

Webb said, “Just have to go at each calf how he is, last night was last night, and just got to come back and do the best you can tonight.”

And Webb’s best secured him a spot in the Semi-Finals in Fort Worth. The Semis will be a clean slate for Webb, who will need to place in the top-4 to advance to the finals over the weekend.

Marty Yates took round one in Bracket 7 and will advance to the Semis, while Webb’s good friend Shad Mayfield will compete in the Wild Card Round in hopes of joining Webb in the Seemis.
