Riley Duvall surges in the PRCA Steer Wrestling World Standings after Tour Finale

Riley Duvall wasn’t on a lot of people’s radars coming into the ProRoeo Tour Finale.

After two straight Wrangler NFRs, he was unranked in 2020 and entered the Tour Finale outside of the Top 20. All he did in Salinas was jump into 13th and possibly secure his return to Vegas.

Duvall was consistent in Salinas, earning qualified times on both of his Long Round runs before putting his foot on the gas Sunday afternoon and winning the eight-man Semi-Final and the four-man Final to secure $16,207 in total, about $4,500 more than any other steer wrestler at the event.

After entering Salinas almost $10,000 out of an NFR spot, Duvall now has $65,801 and holds a slim lead over No. 14 Tristan Martin ($65,071), No. 15 Curtis Cassidy ($64,123), No. 16 Ty Erickson ($63,171) and No. 17 Chance Howard ($62,391).
