Rhen Richard and Jeremy Buhler are headed back to the Thomas & Mack for the second straight season. They will enter the 2022 NFR in seventh and eighth place respectively.

Here is a look back at the highlights of the pair’s 2022 season.

BIGGEST PAYDAYS

NFR Open, $14,330

Richard and Buhler had their biggest payday at the NFR Open where the pair took the average after going 12.4 seconds on two head. The average alone won them over $5,500 bringing their total payday to just under $14,500

Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, $9,980

Buhler and Richard took the Round 1 of their bracket at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, which set them up nicely to make the finals. In the Finals, the pair went 4.6 seconds to place third and bring their total earned to just under $10,000.

FASTEST TIMES

Calgary Stampede Team Roping, 4.1 Seconds

Richard and Buhler posted their fastest time of the regular season north of the border, going 4.1 seconds at the Calgary Stampede Team Roping event. That run would help them get into the finals where they placed third and earned over $5,000.

NOTABLE WINS

Last Chance Stampede, 4.5 Seconds

The pair took the Last Chance Stampede by going 4.5 seconds in their only run of the rodeo to earn $2,500 each towards their season total. The win would be the second of four the team would have throughout the season.

Sisters Rodeo, 5.0 Seconds

Richard and Buhler stopped the clock at 5.0 seconds flat to split the rode with Jake Cooper and Sid Sporer. The win in Sisters was the first of the season for the pair.
