COLE FRANKS SAN ANGELO 88 POINTS ON MACZA PRO RODEO’S HOT FLASH

The young gun had quite the year as he won multiple big rodeos. In April, he won the first round of the San Angelo Rodeo with 88 points on Macza Pro Rodeo’s Hot Flash and pulled another check in the final round. He went for 89 points on Honey Hawk of J Bar J’s at the MSU Northern Xtreme Bares and Broncs and then he was third at the Old Fort Days Rodeo in Fort Smith, Arkansas with 82.5 points.

COLE FRANKS CALGARY STAMPEDE 88.5 ON CALGARY STAMPEDE’S CAGED WARRIOR

Franks kicked off his summer run at the Reno Rodeo with 87 points on Knot So Foxy to win the first round and take home over $4,000 and he followed up the big win with another big ride at Rodeo of the Ozarks. The Black Hills Roundup was good to Franks as well, he went 89 points on the painted stud of Powder River Rodeo’s, Two Buck Chuck. Franks had an impressive trip at the Calgary Stampede where he took home over $12,000 and rode Calgary Stampede’s Caged Warrior for 88 points to win the second round of his pool.

COLE FRANKS DODGE CITY ROUNDUP RODEO 93 POINTS ON FRONTIER’S GUN FIRE

One of the highlights of the summer for Franks would have to include the Dodge City Roundup Rodeo. Franks made two rides in the 90-point range to win the first round, the finals and the average. He went for 90 points on Pickett Pro Rodeo’s Bar Code and came back in the finals to go for 93 points on Frontier’s Gun Fire.

Franks ended the year on a high. He went for 87 points at the Tri-State Rodeo in Fort Madison, Iowa on Cervi’s Guardian Angel, won the New Mexico State Fair and Rodeo on Pickett Pro Rodeo’s Top Egyptian and got second at the Bucking Battle in Bismarck with 87.5 points on Easy Money of Bailey Pro Rodeo.

Franks comes from a family of bronc riders. His father, Brett Franks, went to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo three times in the saddle bronc on top of being a successful college rodeo athlete. You could say that Cole Franks is doing everything just right as he is your 2021 Resistol Rookie of the Year.
