Resistol Rookie Athlete of the Week Jestyn Woodward shined at the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth as he made it out of Pool A with a Semfinals qualification and $10,450 in earnings.
Woodward was in the money in Round 1 as he reserved fourth place with an 80.5-point ride to secure a check but the young cowboy held out until the final round of Pool A to pull out all the stops as he not only made to the eight but marked an 87.5-point ride on Macza Pro Rodeo’s Red Rocker.
The Round 3 winner currently sits No. 1 in the Rookie Standings and No. 4 in World with just under $115,000 in earnings as he makes his way to the Calgary Stampede Semfinals alongside Cody Teel, Daylon Swearingen and Jeff Askey.
