California’s R.C. Landingham was the Go-Round Champion in the final Long Round performance in Fort Worth after an 87-point ride on Big Rafter Rodeo’s Minnie. This ride cinched his spot in the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo.
Landingham’s fundamentals were the key factor in his ride on the paint mare of Big Rafter Rodeo’s.
“That’s what the judges are looking for so if you want to be a bunch of points you’re going to have to do it. I knew I had to be a bunch to progress here so I had to leave it all out there tonight and it worked out,” Landingham said.
Advancing to the Semifinals along with Landingham is fellow California cowboy Clayton Biglow while Gauge McBride advanced to the Wild Card Round.
