Sitting No. 18 in the PRCA World Standings, Taylor has been battling the National Finals Rodeo bubble during the final weeks of the season, while also securing his first qualification to the Canadian Finals Rodeo.
It’s been Taylor’s most consistent year yet. After falling just short of the CFR as a rookie in 2023 and missing out again in 2024 due to saddle issues, he’s now positioned for both a CFR debut and a late-season NFR push.
Taylor has been battling the NFR bubble alongside his traveling partners — Logan Hay (No. 19) and Ben Andersen (No. 15) — all three fighting for their shot at Vegas. For this group, staying positive and having fun has been key,
That mindset paid off in Pendleton. He finally drew Cat Walk from Summit Pro Rodeo in the short round — a matchup he’d been hoping for — he delivered a show-stopping 91-point ride in the finals to seal the win.
Taylor says the biggest difference in 2025 has been his confidence.
“Confidence is everything.” He said.
With a CFR debut secured and an NFR qualification still within reach, he heads into the final weeks of the season with momentum on his side.
