Nelson Wyatt and Tyler Worley won the Texas Circuit Finals together in October of 2022, but roped with different partners for much of the 2023 season.
At their reunion at the NFR Open, the pair put on an impressive show in Colorado Springs landing them with the title there and making them your Pyranha Timed Event Athletes of the Week.
Their week started off strong with a tie to win Round 1 after a 5.8-second run. They placed fourth in Round 2 and second in the Semifinals before roping the fastest time of the NFR Open in the Four-Man Finals with a 4.4.
The NFR Open win as added almost $25,000 to Wyatt and Worley’s 2023 season earnings and has bumped Wyatt to No. 2 in the PRCA Header World Standings and Worley to No. 7 on the heel side.
