After spending a majority of the last two months unmoved at No. 14, John Douch now sits inside the Top 10 in the PRCA World Standings, and does not appear to be slowing for the last six weeks of the season.

He took home two wins and placed at three other rodeos to be your Pyranha Timed Event Athlete of the Week.

Douch would taste victory in Idaho at the Owyhee County Rodeo. A 9.1-second run was worth over $2,000 before he did it again in Omak, Washington at the Omak Stampede. With an 8.3-second run, he claimed the win there. The Texas tie-down roper finished fourth in the Average at the Farm City Pro Rodeo with a time of 17.6 seconds on two head as well over the weekend.

Douch was also 9.1 in Loveland, Colorado to be fourth at the Larimer County Fair earlier in the week and also made a 7.6-second run to put himself second in ran over to Jerome, Idaho.

Douch is looking at a third National Finals Rodeo qualification in a row and currently has $90,568 to his name in the 2023 season.
