Dalton Massey continued to dominate the 2023 season when he followed up Cowboy Christmas with a successful trip in Pool A at the Calgary Stampede making the No. 1 steer wrestler in the PRCA your Pyranha Timed Event Athlete of the Week.
A 4.0-second run in Round 2 of St. Paul Rodeo proved to be worth almost $4,000 before he hit Big Fork, Montana where he won the average. He left Big Fork with over $2,500 added to his earnings and headed north.
Massey kicked off his Calgary Stampede the right way when he won Round 1. He then tied for second in Round 2 and picked up third in Round 3, making him the No. 1 steer wrestler from Pool A to qualify for the Semifinals. So far, Massey has added $16,500 to his earnings from the greatest outdoor show on Earth.
