While on location in Cave Creek, Arizona, this past weekend for the Cave Creek Rodeo Days — the first ProRodeo event to be held since the coronavirus shutdown — western sports reporter Amy Wilson caught up with PRCA CEO George Taylor.
Taylor talked about what it meant to kick open the chutes again, the various safety measures being implemented in order to host the event, and what to expect from the rest of the rodeo season. As of July 1, we will have more details on the upcoming ProRodeo events.
“One of the most exciting things for me, as the leader of the PRCA, is to see the expression on all of our contestants’ faces,” Taylor said. “It’s like being back home again.”
