For our first edition of ProRodeo Tonight on Saturday evening, PRCA CEO George Taylor talked to Steve Kenyon about the latest ProRodeo news, when he foresees rodeos starting back up and what that will look like for fans, new NFR general manager Glen Alan Phillips, how the NFR will help the city of Las Vegas get going again come December, and what he’s currently hearing from rodeo committees,.
Taylor says that the PRCA has been contacted by more than 80 rodeos, about half of which have decided to cancel their events. The other half are choosing to postpone and hoping to reschedule.
But, as he notes, “as the goal posts keep getting moved out, if you will, it’s going to be harder and harder to reschedule.
