ProRodeo Hall of Fame to induct class of 2020 on July 17

The ProRodeo Hall of Fame has a date for the 2021 induction ceremonies, it will be held on July 17 in Colorado Springs.

The Hall of Fame class of 2020 includes six-time PRCA Tie-Down Roping World Champion Cody Ohl, six-time PRCA Stock of the Year Grated Coconut, 1980 World Champion and 11-time NFR qualifier in the barrel racing Martha Josey, 1978 PRCA Bull Riding World Champion Butch Kirby, stock contractor Jim Sutton Jr., journalist Randy Witte and the Ellensburg Rodeo.

“It is so great to be able to plan and finally hold this event to induct this amazing class of rodeo legends,” Hall of Fame Director Kent Sturman said. “We are so thankful that the COVID restrictions are easing up in the state of Colorado and El Paso County, which will allow us to host the event here in Colorado Springs. We are hopeful that restrictions will ease up more as we move closer to the dates so that our Induction Weekend this year will look very similar to events of the past.”

The PRCA’s “hometown” rodeo, Pikes Peak or Bust, will be held the same weekend.
