The 2025 PRCA tie-down roping standings are shaping up as the summer run approaches. Reigning world champion Riley Webb holds the top spot, with the 2024 All Around Champion, Shad Mayfield, on his heels, and three-time NFR Qualifier Kincade Henry behind him. With the busiest time in rodeo season approaching, the race for a World Title is already heating up.
No. 1— Riley Webb $116,059
Two-time consecutive World Champion Riley Webb is picking up right where he left off. After winning back-to-back world titles in 2023 and 2024, Webb has come into 2025 with a strong lead in the standings and over $116,000 in earnings so far.
Webb dominated RodeoHouston, sweeping the event by winning his Super Series with an 8.4-second run, tying Zach Jongbloed for the semi-finals win with an 8.8-second run, and finishing it off with a 7.6-second run in the Championship Shootout to take home $65,000.
Webb is well on his way to securing his third consecutive Gold Buckle. With a strong start to the season, he’s in prime position to maintain his momentum and push for yet another World Title.
No. 2— Shad Mayfield $88,765
Two-time World Champion Shad Mayfield—the 2024 All-Around Champion and 2020 Tie-Down Champion—is coming up on Webb’s heels, looking for his own third World Title. Mayfield had a strong run through the Texas Swing, picking up wins in San Angelo, Fort Worth, and Odessa to keep the pressure on early in the season.
No. 3— Kincade Henry $70,710
Henry picked up a big win at the Cinch Chute out in San Angelo, with Mayfield being second behind him. Solid runs throughout the week at the rodeo earned him over $19,000 in total in San Angelo, keeping him locked in at No. 3 in the world standings.
No. 4— Ty Harris $50,538
Ty Harris is off to a strong start in 2025, achieving consistent results throughout the Texas Swing. He made a notable showing in San Antonio, winning his bracket and advancing to then post a 7-second run in the semi-finals round, and another impressive 7-second run in his set in San Angelo. Harris is well on track for what could be his seventh trip to the National Finals Rodeo.
No. 5— Kyle Lucas $49,706
The Canadian cowboy, Kyle Lucas, is having a career-best PRCA season. He finished second in Fort Worth with a 7.7-second run that earned him a $12,000 payday, then kept things rolling with another big win in Tucson, Arizona, where he put together three clean runs totalling 29.7 seconds on three head.
No. 6— Brushton Minton $46,689
Brushton Minton is making a strong push to return to the NFR after his first qualification in 2023. He recently split the first round in Logandale, NV, with Shad Mayfield and Lane Livingston, and followed that with a solid showing in Clovis, CA, where he finished sixth in the average with a time of 47 seconds on four head.
No. 7— Zack Jongbloed $45,427
After qualifying for his second National Finals in 2024, Zack Jongbloed has climbed into the top 10. He had a second-place finish in the average in Clovis, CA, posting a 45.5-second time on four head and taking home over $5,000 in earnings.
No. 8— John Douch $45,319
John Douch had a standout Texas Swing, securing solid results in Fort Worth, finishing third at the San Antonio Finals, and following it up with some major paydays at RodeoHouston.
No. 9— Riley Pruitt $44,912
After claiming a win in Lakeside, CA, with an 8.3-second run and posting strong results throughout the Texas Swing, Riley Pruitt has earned his spot inside the top 10.
No. 10—Tuf Cooper $44,534
Four-time World Champion Tuf Cooper is holding his spot in the top 10 after a win at RodeoAustin, where he clocked an 8.5-second run in the finals. He also picked up a big win earlier in the season at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, keeping him in a solid position heading into summer.
No. 11— Seth Hall $43,368
Hall split the win at Cave Creek Rodeo Days with a 9.8-second run, matching Garrett Busby. He also turned in a strong performance in San Antonio, finishing second overall and giving his season earnings a solid boost.
No. 12— Tom Crouse $41,768
Tom Crouse made his way to the Top 15 after a solid showing in Red Bluff, where he totaled 40.6 seconds on four head. He followed that up with a pair of second-place finishes in Thermal and Lakeside, CA—posting identical 8.9-second runs at both stops.
No. 13— Haven Meged $41,631
2019 World Champion Haven Meged is chasing his seventh straight NFR trip. He was sharp in Tucson, finishing third with a 33.3-second total on three head and banking over $6,000.
No. 14— Ryan Jarrett $40,873
Fourteen-time NFR qualifier and 2005 All-Around Champion Ryan Jarrett is back inside the Top 15 for 2025. He recently put together a strong performance in Guymon, Oklahoma, stopping the clock at 26.4 seconds on three head to stay in the mix.
No. 15— Cory Solomon $40,834
Cory Solomon hangs onto the final spot in the Top 15, backed by solid money earnings in RodeoHouston and a $4,550 win in Kissimmee. He’s right in the mix heading into the heart of the season.
