The earnings are high and the competition is fierce in the tie-down roping as reigning Resistol Rookie of the Year Riley Webb has officially broken the record for regular season earnings. Webb holds steady at No. 1 in the PRCA Tie-Down Roping World Standings as Shad Mayfield, Webb’s current traveling partner and previous record holder, sits No. 3 with $126,113 in earnings, with Haven Meged between them.

Household names in the tie-down roping have populated the Top 20 as World Champions such as Caleb Smidt, Tuff Cooper, Shane Hanchey and Marcos Costa have claimed top spots the World Standings amongst other perennial NFR qualifiers such as Hunter Herrin, Cory Solomon and Matt Shiozwa.

No. 1 Riley Webb, $227,040

Since Texas cowboy Riley Webb purchased his PRCA card in 2022 he has proven time and time again that the rodeo arena is where he belongs. Webb has now followed up his Resistol Rookie of the Year Title with a regular season earnings record as he surpasses Shad Mayfield’s count of $203,508 that was set in 2022. Webb now holds this record with $227,040 in earnings as he sits No. 1 in the PRCA World Standings and solidifies a second trip to the National Finals Rodeo.

No. 9 John Douch $93,473

John Douch has moved just inside the Top 10 after cinching back-to-back wins at the Owyee County Rodeo and the Omak Stampede. The Texas cowboy then headed north where he got the job done in 8.3 seconds to take the lead and ultimately the Omak Stampede Title. Douch is gunning for a third trip to the Thomas & Mack this December as he sits No. 9 in the World with $93,473 in earnings.

No. 14 Zach Jongloed, $82,193

Zach Jongbloed is on the bubble as he sits No. 14 in the World Standings with over $82,000 in earnings after securing a check in Coalville, UT at the Summit County Fair and Rodeo where he picked up a fourth place check worth just under $1,500.
