Big shifts have taken place in the tie-down roping as the Texas Swing continues to shake things up in the World Standings. Riley Webb claims the lead after a big win at RodeoHouston while Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Champion Westyn Hughes now sits No. 3 following 12-time NFR qualifier Hunter Herrin.
No. 2 Hunter Herrin, $55,029
Hunter Herrin added $24,375 to his earnings after placing second in the Championship Shootout at RodeoHouston, playing a large role in his re-positioning from No. 9 to No. 2 in the World Standings. Shortly after, Herrin won an additional $14,165 as he claimed the Rodeo Austin Championship Title with a 7.1-second run in the Final Round.
No. 4 Shad Mayfield, $39,376
Shad Mayfield placed second overall at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo with a 7.3 second run in the Final Round to earn over $17,000 and move into the Top-5. Mayfield stayed consistent at RodeoHouston to stay in the money for each run he made adding $11,000 to his earnings as he advanced through to the 10-Man Round where he took sixth place. The World Champion now sits No. 4 in the PRCA World Standings.
No. 8 Riley Pruitt, $28,724
Riley Pruitt brought in the bulk of his earnings with his biggest win of the season at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo where he laid down a 7.2-second run to collect a check for a total of $22,500. This win propelled him into the No. 8 spot in the PRCA World Standings.
