The Texas Swing has come and gone and the standings have taken shape for the summer run. Rhen Richard tops the PRCA World Standings on the Header side after taking RodeoHouston, but there are several big names on his heels.

Here is a look at the top 20 in the Team Roping Header World Standings and how their seasons have shaken out thus far.

1. Rhen Richard, $75,148

Rhen Richard built his lead by taking the title at RodeoHouston with a 5.5-second run in the finals. Richard and his partner, Jeremy Buhler placed in six of seven rounds at RodeoHouston and have been in first-place since.

2. Nelson Wyatt, $59,204

Nelson Wyatt has roped with a handful of different Heelers in the 2023 season, but that hasn’t affected his performance as he comes in at No. 2 in the PRCA World Standings. Wyatt’s biggest win of the Texas Swing came at RodeoHouston where he placed second in the finals with a 9.9-second run. Wyatt also placed second in San Antonio after a 4.3-second run.

3. Andrew Ward, $50,013

Andrew Ward has finished inside the top seven three seasons in a row and is on pace to do the same in 2023. Ward roped himself to a win at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo with a 3.9-second run to earn over $10,000.

4. Dustin Egusquiza, $47,824

Dustin Egusquiza has been a model of consistency, placing inside the top 8 five of the last six years. Egusquiza is back at it in 2023 and he can thank a win at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo for his No. 4 standing. Egusquiza and Levi Lord took the rodeo with a 4.1-second run and earned over $22,000 at the rodeo in total.

5. Kaleb Driggers, $41,453

Driggers does not have the singular big paycheck during the Texas Swing, but he has been as consistent as they come. Driggers earned over $10,000 in San Antonio, over $17,000 in Fort Worth, and another $4,000 in San Angelo.

6. Marcus Theriot, $38,157

Theriot earned his biggest payday during the Texas Swing at RodeoHouston where he placed third to earn $10,000 in the Finals alone. Theriot also had a strong showing at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo where he earned over $10,000 in total.

7. Cody Snow, $34,173

Cody Snow started the Texas Swing off hot with a third-place finish at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo where he went 5.4 seconds in the Finals. Snow made over $9,000 in total at the rodeo.

8. J.C. Yeahquo, $31,490

J.C. and brother L.J. Yeahquo saved their best for last as they took the San Angelo Rodeo by going 3.9 seconds in the Finals and 12.3 seconds on aggregate to win both titles. The win earned them around $15,000 in total.

9. Tanner Tomlinson, $29,559

It was all about consistency for Tanner Tomlinson over the Texas Swing. While he didn’t get the singular check that can change a season, he did compile 12 checks of at least $1,000 during the Swing, his biggest coming at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo where he won over $4,000 in the Finals alone with a fifth-place finish.

10. Jake Clay, $29,144

Clay had a second-place finish in Fort Worth, earning him $8,800 that propelled him inside the top-15. He has been relatively quiet since then, with his best check being a $3,000 one at the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show and Rodeo.

11. Luke Brown, $24,036

Luke Brown has Rodeo Austin to thank for his current ranking in the PRCA World Standings. Brown placed second in the Finals and earlier in the rodeo won Round 2. The showing earned him over $12,000, which amounts to half of his season earnings.

12. Riley Minor, $22,613

Riley Minor has not cashed a check over $1,000 in his last eight performances, but a consistent showing during the Texas Swing still has him inside the top-15. Minor had a nice showing at RodeoHouston where he placed in three rounds to earn $6,500.

13. Manny Egusquiza, $22,462

Cashing just one check in his last 17 runs, Egusquiza has fallen down in the standings. Strong showings at the Dixie National and Los Fresnos Rodeo, which earned him over $6,000, are what is keeping him inside the top 15.

14. Clay Smith, $21,867

Smith has struggled of late, but a $5,000 payday at RodeoHouston kept him on the bubble.

15. Brenten Hall, $21,586

Hall has RodeoHouston to thank for his current spot. At Houston alone he made over half of his season earnings and placed fourth in the Finals.

16. Jeff Flenniken, $21,209

It was a tough end to the Texas Swing for Flenniken as he has failed to visit the pay window in his last 11 performances. A win at Rodeo Austin is what is keeping him near the top 15 as he took home e more than $12,000 at the rodeo.

17. Chad Masters, $20,716

Masters rose in the standings on the last leg of the Texas Swing. He placed second in the Finals and third in the average at the San Angelo Rodeo to win over $9,000.

20. Aaron Tsinigine, $19,622

Tsinigine had his best showing at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo where he won over $14,000, including a $7,500 win in the Finals thanks to a second-place finish after a 4.3-second run.
