The Team Roping standings continue to be one of the tightest across all events with the top three separated by less than $3,500. The man at the top is Kaleb Driggers, who is looking for his third straight Gold Buckle alongside his partner Junior Nogueira.
Here is a look at the top 20 on the Header side of the Team Roping World Standings.
No. 1 Kaleb Driggers, $133,494
Driggers and partner Junior Nogueira took over the top spots on both the Head and Heel side after placing second in a round in Caldwell to earn $3,600. The two placed fourth in Gooding which added $2,800 to their season earnings as well. Driggers and Nogueira have a chance to three-peat which has not been done by a pair of Team Ropers since the early 2000s.
No.11 Derrick Begay, $81,475
Derrick Begay made a big jump over the last week going from No. 17 in the world to No. 11. Begay was able to make that jump thanks to a win at the Moses LAke Round-Up Rodeo where he was 4.2 seconds and earned $4,600. Begay had a nice showing in Canby where he placed fourth in the average to earn an additional $2,200. In Caldwell Begay placed second in a round with a 4.7-second run. The run earned him $3,100.
