The 2025 Saddle Bronc Standings are quickly heating up as multiple athletes are crossing over the $100,000 earnings mark. But with the summer run just around the corner, anything can happen.
As of now, Ryder Wright continues his reign at the top of the leaderboard with help of the $65,000 he won through RODEOHOUSTON, but Dawson Hay isn’t far behind the 2024 World Champ.
Here is how the Top 15 is shaking up so far in the season:
No. 1 Ryder Wright, $139,000
Wright continutes to dominate the saddle bronc standings, cashing checks at nearly every rodeo he attends.
Thanks in large to his major win at RODEOHOUSTON, Wright has built a comfortable lead and remains firmly in the top spot. He recently added to his impressive season with a third-place average finish in San Angelo for over $2,700
No. 2 Dawson Hay $102,868
Hay has officially surpassed the $100,000 mark and is closing the gap on the number one spot.
After claiming first place in San Angelo, Hay has kept the momentum going with a third-place finish in Logandale, earning $4,175.
Most recently, he has racked up over $10,000 with an event win at the Lakeside Rodeo and a second-place finish in Clovis, both with 88-point rides.
No. 3 Kade Bruno $99,349
Though Bruno has slipped to third in the standings, he is no stranger to leading the pack and we do not expect him to back down anytime soon.
Bruno claimed a win at the San Angelo Cinch Chute Out with an 89.5-point ride, good for $5,250, and followed it up with a first-place finish at the CINCH World’s Toughest Rodeo in Charlottesville, pocketing $6,204. As the season heats up, Bruno remains a serious contender.
No. 4 Statler Wright, $70,891
Wright holds steady in the number four spot in the standings. While he has not see any big wins as of lately, he did pick up a solid $4,633 with a first-place finish at the Osage Xtreme Bronc Days. As with any Wright brother, you can never count him out, especially this early in the season.
No. 5 Sage Newman $62,877
Newman made a big move in the standings after tying for first at Battle Born Broncs in Logandale aboard Burch Rodeo’s Lunatic Nation. That ride earned him $7,025 and took him from sixth to fifth overall. He followed it up with a sixth-place finish in Clovis for an additional $1,540 and despite it being early in the season, we know every dollar can make a difference.
No. 6 Weston Patterson $61,896
Patterson is chasing his first trip to the National Finals Rodeo and so far, is making waves in the saddle bronc standings. After a strong showing at RODEOHOUSTON, Patterson has consistently cashed checks at multiple CINCH World’s Toughest Rodeo events and the American Royal Rodeo. Comparing his performance this year to last, it clear the Waverly, Kansas cowboy is emerging a true force to be reckoned with in the saddle bronc ranks.
No. 7 Zac Dallas $59,847
Dallas kicked off the 2025 season with a bang winning the National Western Stock Show & Rodeo in Denver. Since then, he has kept up the momentum, tying for first in San Angelo and securing a win at the Pioneer Days in Clovis, New Mexico, bringing in nearly $13,000 between the two events. His early season success has firmly planted him in the top ten.
No. 8 Lefty Holman $58,428
Holman has made a significant jump in the standings as of lately. He notched first place finished at the CINCH World’s Toughest Rodeo in Laughlin for $6,328, Springville Sierra Rodeo for $1,641 and Riverdale Rodeo for $1,015. A second-place finish at Red Bluff and third at Battle Born Broncs added over $10,000 to his earnings to move him into the top 15.
No. 9 Wyatt Casper $56,635
Casper has made a significant jump to number nine in the standings after finding much success as of lately. Casper cashed in over $8,500 at the Xtreme Bares & Broncs in Watford City, ND, $4,442 at the Red Bluff Round-Up, and $6,843 at Clovis. Most recently, he finished first at Guymon Pioneer Days Rodeo going 88.5-points adding another $3,920 to his season total.
No. 10 Kolby Wanchuk $56,004
After his third-place finish at Rodeo Austin, Wanchuk has slipped slightly in the standings but remains steady, recently picking up a $1,151 check at CINCH World’s Toughest Rodeo in Laughlin.
No 11. Chase Brooks $54,997
Brooks added two more first-place finishes to his 2025 season, earning over $5,000 between the Nacogdoches Pro Rodeo and the Angelina Benefit Rodeo.
No 12. Brody Cress $47,102
Cress has slipped one spot in the overall standings but continues to consistently earn checks. He recently secured a first-place finish at the PPCLA Rodeo in Mineral Wells, TX and took fourth at Battle Born Broncs. As an eight-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier, Cress is expected to stay firmly in the mix as the season progresses.
No. 13 Brody Wells $47,045
Coming off his first National Finals Rodeo qualification, Wells continues to make his presence known. The Wyoming cowboy claimed first place at the Osage Xtreme Bronc Days aboard Dakota Rodeo’s Cash Deal, earning $4,633. He followed that up with an 88-point ride at the Red Bluff Round-Up, securing another first-place finish and a hefty $7,840 payday to kick off his season strong.
No. 14 Ryder Sanford $42,168
After earning $1,300 with a third-place finish at the Watford City Xtreme Bares & Broncs, Sanford has hit a bit of a dry spell, but he remains a factor in the standings.
No. 15 Damian Brennan $38,584
Coming off his win at The American Rodeo–which doesn’t count towards PRCA earnings –Brennan is looking to turn that momentum into success at upcoming rodeos. As last year’s regular season earnings number one, it is only a matter of time before Brennan climbs the standings.
