The Saddle Bronc Riding has been exciting to watch all year. Sage Newman is entering his second National Finals Rodeo ever and this year, he is going in as the No. 1 man. Stetson Wright and Ryder Wright are returning to Las Vegas as well but the rest of the Top 15 is undeniably full of talent all hunting a Gold Buckle.
7. Logan Hay, $137,646
Hay is looking at his first trip to Las Vegas after winning the Calgary Stampede but his foot has not let off the gas. He cinched a win at the Tri-State Rodeo in Iowa with an 87-point ride on Banger Main to add over $4,000 to his earnings. He followed that up with a fourth place check from Utah’s Own Rodeo at the Utah State Fair.
10. Kolby Wanchuk, $129,436
The Pendleton Round-Up got wanchuk’ed this past weekend! The Canadian cowboy got a huge win at the Oregon rodeo after an 84.5-point ride in the Long Round set him up to make a 90-point ride on The Black Tie on Short Round Saturday. In total, he took home almost $9,000 and this was after he had a successful trip to Puyallup.
15. Tanner Butner, $97,403
Butner is the man on the bubble heading into the last week of the season. He drew the horse he needed in the Short Round of the Pendleton Roundup and he took home money from both rounds and the average. He flew from Oregon to Florida where he finished third at the Extreme Seminole Showdown and he bumped Sterling Crawley out of the Top 15.
