As the 2025 season continues, we are seeing big scores come in from big names while the young guns of bull riding fill more seats in the Top 15.

No. 1 Wacey Schalla, $134,276

With five 90-plus point rides to his name already, Schalla’s lead in the bull riding remains. The most recent came when he picked up the Red Bluff Round-Up win with 91 points on Cherry Bomb of Big Stone Rodeo.

No. 2 TJ Gray, $119,308

Only two days into the month of May, Gray racked up over $10,000 with a successful trip to the Cactus Jack Xtreme Bull Riding. He placed in two Go-Rounds to be No. 1 in the Average when the dust settled with 175 points on two head.

No. 3 Tristen Hutchings, $118,298

Hutching’s return to the Winner’s Circle came at RodeoHouston, and he has stayed there. A 90 on Stockyards ProRodeo’s Insurrection landed him the Final Go-Round win and the Average win at the 47th George Paul Memorial Xtreme Bull Riding. It was followed up with a payday at the Cactus Jack Xtreme Bull Riding.

No. 4 Stetson Wright, $114,557

After a second-place finish at Rodeo Austin, Wright capitalized in Oregon and Nevada to add over $10,000 to his earnings before he snagged a win at the inaugural Desert Rodeo that was worth $3,619.

No. 5 Mason Moody, $82,028

A 90.5 on Richard Slam at the San Angelo Xtreme Bulls was worth $13,325 to give Moody a boost into the Top 5. The South Dakota cowboy carried the momentum into Lakeside Rodeo, where a third-place finish added another almost $4,000 to his name.

No. 6 T Parker, $65,254

Parker is gunning for a second National Finals Rodeo qualification, and his most recent win at the Henderson County First Responders PRCA Rodeo got him $6,000 closer. The 87-pointer came after an 87.5 at the Red Bluff Round-Up that earned him another $4,000.

No. 7 Rawley Johnson, $63,741

Johnson hit a hefty jackpot when he came out of the San Angelo Cinch Chute-Out No. 1 to earn his second $7,500 payday of the season. The momentum carried him to a third-place finish at Clovis Rodeo just two weeks later.

No. 8 Ky Hamilton, $59,100

The World Champion racked up $36,381 in April, starting with a win at the Wharton County Youth Fair and Exposition Xtreme Bulls. Another win came his way when he went 90 points on Total Air of Sankey Pro Rodeo and Phenom Genetics in Nevada.

No. 9 Trey Benton III, $48,784

Benton’s comeback tour has been paused after an injury that occurred in March. The broken right tibia has the veteran bull rider currently out of commission with hopes of returning in June.

No. 10 Scott Wells, $47,756

Wells is among those gunning for a first NFR qualification. He picked up over $3,000 at the Cactus Jack Xtreme Bull Riding after an 88-point ride on Stockyards ProRodeo’s Ground Strike to kick off his month of May.

No. 11 Clayton Sellars, $47,131

Sellars is looking to get back inside the Thomas and Mack. Paydays from Springville Sierra Rodeo and the Cactus Jack Xtreme Bull Riding totaled $7,122, leaving Sellars only $625 outside of the Top 10.

No. 12 Jesse Petri, $47,076

Petri has spent the last four years away from the PRCA, and his return is all the rage. The 27-year-old was 87.5 points at the San Angelo Xtreme Bulls to cash in on almost $4,000. At the Guymon Pioneer Days Rodeo, Petri cashed in another $467.

No. 13 Tristan Mize, $46,846

Mize was the No. 3 money earner at the 47th George Paul Memorial Xtreme Bull Riding with over $10,000 earned thanks to an 88.5 that landed him No. 3 in the Average. Before the big payday came a small when when he finished ninth at Clovis Rodeo.

No. 14 Luke Mast, $46,130

A second-place finish at the San Angelo Xtreme Bulls was enough for $3,000 to wrap up Mast’s April. He kicked off May with a third-place finish in Round 1 of the Cactus Jack Xtreme Bull Riding after a matchup with United Pro Rodeo’s Back Bender.

No. 15 Maverick Potter, $44,313

Potter put together an 85-point ride on Corey and Lange Rodeo’s Smoke Screen at the Clovis Rodeo Xtreme Bulls. It ended fourth on the leaderboard, and it put him fifth in the Average when the dust settled.
