For months, it felt like the Top 5 in the PRCA Bull Riding World Standings was set in stone. Ky Hamilton and Stetson Wright were the clear No. 1 and 2 with the likes of Josh Frost, Jeff Askey and Jestyn Woodward following behind.

That has changed, and who better to disrupt the party than seven-time World Champion Sage Kimzey. He and fellow PRCA World Champion Cody Teel were notable movers over the last month, along with Jordan Hansen and Braden Richardson.

No. 4 Sage Kimzey - $122,989

Since the beginning of Reno on June 15, Kimzey has won almost $50,000 and moved from No. 7 to No. 4 in the world. The easiest way to make a bunch in the bull riding? Stay on. Kimzey is 13 for his last 15 and eight of those rides were Top 3 in the round. He won $13,700 for second in the Average at the Reno Rodeo Xtreme Bulls and was also 90 at the Oakley Independence Day Rodeo (Utah) and the St. Paul Rodeo (Oregon) on July 4. Those two runner-up finishes paid him $15,000 combined.

No. 10 Cody Teel - $80,447

The 2012 PRCA World Champion continues to get closer to his stated goal of making the NFR for the first time since 2016 after predominantly competing in PBR since. Teel sat No. 13 just two weeks ago, but a 3-for-3 performance in Pool A at The Calgary Stampede has helped power him back into the Top 10. There’s also plenty of money still be earned at The Stampede, including the $50,000 bronze. Teel made about $7,500 over Cowboy Christmas despite covering just two bulls and also made more than $5,000 at the Reno Rodeo Xtreme Bulls.

No. 12 Jordan Hansen - $71,419

Hansen has three wins this year all coming in his native Alberta, so naturally, this is a good time of the year for him. He made the Showdown Round at the Ponoka Stampede on July 2 and is also moving on to Championship Sunday at The Calgary Stampede thanks to a 2-for-3 performance in his pool. Combine his success north of the border with a win paying more than $5,000 at the Wolf Point Wild Horse Stampede (Montana), and Hansen has added about $26,000 to his season earnings in the last two weeks to go from No. 19 to No. 12.

No. 20 Braden Richardson - $52,292

No one has ridden a bull for more points than Braden Richardson this season. He covered Powder River’s Heater for 93.5 to win the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo (Utah) on July 10. It all happened just a few days after he was 90.5 to win St. Paul. Those two rides combined to pay him $21,000, sending him from No. 39 to No. 20 in two weeks time and raising his Average Score to 83.58 points.
