The revamped NFR Playoff Finale has a new name and a new title sponsor. The inaugural Playoffs held in Puyallup, Washington will now be known as the Cinch Playoffs.
It was announced in March that the event would take place at the site of the Washington State Fair on Sept. 8-11.
“We are proud to have Cinch as the title sponsor for this lucrative rodeo,” PRCA CEO Tom Glause said in a news release. “Cinch is a great supporter of the PRCA and to have them sponsor such a high-stakes rodeo is a natural partnership.”
The rodeo will feature the Top 23 athletes in each event as well as the champions of July’s NFR Open. Like the NFR Open, the total payout for the Cinch Playoffs is $1 million.
