Our Positive Times Moment presented by American Hat Company this week is a cowboy you may recognize having great success at the Fallon County Fair and Rodeo.
Chance Thiessen won the tie-down roping with a 7.8 on Rampage, who belongs to Shad Mayfield, and Theissen also won the all around in Baker, Montana this past weekend. Winning over $5,400, Steve Kenyon said it best when he said he’s a cowboy with not a lot of quit in him.
You might remember Theissen’s name after we covered a horse accident at the World Series of Team Roping Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada on Western Sports Round-Up. He has made an amazing recovery after a traumatic brain injury from the horse kicking him in the head after falling over on top of him during a run.
“Chance Theissen, it’s good to see you having that kind of success in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association,” Kenyon said.
Theissen is currently No. 18 in the Prairie Circuit, we look forward to him having much more success in the future.
