Portland Classic Champion Brady Oleson on the Unique Opportunities the PBR Velocity Tour Provides

Brady Olseon was the only cowboy to ride both of his bulls at the PBR Velocity Tour’s Portland Classic and with that win, he now has a chance to make a name for himself on the top flight Unleash the Beast Tour.

When you win a Velocity Tour event, you are automatically invited to a PBR event in addition to all money and points earned at Velocity Tour events counting toward the PBR World Standings. Oleson’s 2-for-2 performance won him over $10,000 as well as 40 points. He is currently No. 24 in the PBR World Standings.

“Those Velocity Tour (events), there’s huge opportunities there, they’re similar in the way they run and look, it’s not quite the Unleash the Beast Tour, but it’s very similar,” he said. “They are the best thing to happen to the PBR for guys that are not on (the Unleash the Beast) Tour.”
