Parker County Sheriffs Posse VS. Pete Carr Pro Rodeo: A Charity Softball Game

The leadup to the Parker County Sheriff’s Posse Frontier Days and Rodeo is full of fun and games. One of those games is the charity softball game where the sheriff posse and rodeo committee go to head-to-head.

“It kind of just started as a friendly rivalry between the posse and the entire rodeo committee and man, we had so much fun doing it and it came to be that we’re raising money for Casa for children’s advocacy, a good cause and it’s become a pretty popular event that we look forward to each and every year,”said rodeo announcer Andy Stewart.

For every home run is worth $100 and is added to the money raised for Casa. This is an event that has grown every year and the posse, along with the rodeo committee, call a bright spot.
