Canadian bareback rider Orin Larsen set the bar in Performance 1 of Redding Rodeo with an 85.5-point ride on Bridwell Pro Rodeo’s Hay Wagon.
“That was just a great horse of Tim Bridwell’s. I haven’t been on anything for a few months, I’ve been recovering from a knee injury so it’s a nice way to knock off the rust a bit,” Larsen said.
Larsen describes overcoming the injuries that come with being a bareback rider as always a solid grind. He says that if it was easy, everyone would be doing it.
The seven-time National Finals Qualifier is looking to add Redding Rodeo to his long list of accomplishments, but he will have to wait through two more performances.
