The DT Horses Western Derby is coming to a close but not without crowning their champions. This is one of their biggest events of the year at the National Reined Cow Horse Association and it wraps up on Saturday, June 11.
Cheryl Chown and Metal Doctor are among the top performers so far in Scottsdale. They are the Non Pro Boxing and Non Pro Select Boxing Derby Champions. The 2016 gelding is owned by the Chowns and brought home over $12,000.
Jenna Stolting is in her first year of showing in the NRCHA and she was aboard Kit Kat Royal for a standout performance during the Level 1 Non Pro Boxing Derby. The Scottsdale cowgirl owns the mare and they secured their title with a score of 632.5 points.
