After making it to Las Vegas four five straight times from 2014-2018, Nick Guy came up empty the next three years.

At age 38 in 2022, he proved he can still bulldog with the best in the world by sliding into his seventh NFR in the No. 15 spot.

BIGGEST PAYDAYS

Reno Rodeo, $11,503

Guy finished third in the Average behind Mike McGinn and Timmy Sparing with an aggregate time of 13.3 seconds. All three of his times were 4.7 seconds or faster.

Clovis Rodeo, $6,940

Guy impressed throughout the four-round rodeo and emerged the champion by exactly one second over Bridger Anderson as he finished with 32.6 seconds on four head. Guy cashed a check in three of four rounds and banked $4,461 from the Average.

After a dissapointing 7.4-second run in Round 1, Guy rebounded with a 3.6-second run to win Round 2.

Guymon Pioneer Days, 3.7 Seconds

In his first rodeo following his win in Clovis, Guymon cashed a second-place check in Round 3.

Sanders County Fair & Rodeo, 3.7 Seconds

In the one-head rodeo in September, Guy was the fastest bulldogger of the bunch. His 3.7-second run was the only one in the 3s for the entire three-day event.

NOTABLE WINS

Mountain States Circuit Finals, 15.2 Seconds on Three

Guy got his 2022 season started off right all the way back in October of 2021. He didn’t win any of the three rounds in Loveland, Colorado but his consistency paid off as he ultimately split the Average win with Brian Snell and banked $4,665 before the calendar flipped to 2022.

Northwest Montana Fair and Rodeo, 3.7 Seconds

Guy was 3.7 seconds in the one-header to beat Grant Peterson by one tenth. He won a total of six rodeos in 2022, two in Montana, Colorado and California.
