The National High School Rodeo Association has announced its January 2022 Student Athletes of the Month.
The winners were fifth grader Reid Buss, eighth grader Carly Tabor, junior Raelee Caldwell and senior Samuel Balsamo.
In addition to the students, a group of equine athletes were honored as well. Roxy ridden by Tallee Balsamo, Porkchop ridden by Cabe Tobin, Clayo ridden by Layne Clark and Baxter ridden by Ashlyn Hill were the top horses in January.
The Student Athlete of the Month Award is presented by Professional’s Choice.
