NFR’s Most Memorable Moments: Jim Sharp Goes 10 for 10

Known for his incredible consistency throughout his career, Jim Sharp made history in 1988 when he became the first bull rider to ride all 10 bulls throughout the 10 rounds of the National Finals Rodeo.

The cowboy known as “Razor” also holds the record for the most consecutive successful bull rides at the NFR, racking up 23 straight between 1987 and 1989.

Jim Sharp was inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in 2006, and in 2016, he was inducted into the Bull Riding Hall of Fame.
