After some standings shuffling in Rounds 1 and 2, Keenan Hayes and Riley Webb, who both entered the NFR No. 1, both got back on track on Sunday night in Round 3 of the NFR.

Let’s start with Hayes in the bareback riding. Her rode Frontier Rodeo’s Full Baggage to share second place with Cole Reiner at 87.5 points. It also snuck Hayes up to No. 4 in the Average at 253.5 points on three, which is only one position behind Round 3 winner Mason Clements.

Webb, on the other hand, won his first career NFR Go-Round on Sunday night with a 6.9-second run, which was three tenths off the Round 3 record and the second straight year a cowboy won with that time. Webb was one of the last cowboys out Cory Solomon, who won Round 3 in 2022, was already in with a 7 flat.

“I felt like, I missed the barrier on the first night and could’ve panicked maybe, last year I would have panicked and made some mistakes,” Webb said.

Both Hayes and Webb are on top of the PRCA World Standings and the Projected World Standings.

The other Round 3 winners were Nick Guy in the steer wrestling (4.2 seconds), Coleman Proctor/Logan Medlin in team roping (3.7 seconds), Sage Newman in saddle bronc riding (89.5 points), Lisa Lockhart in barrel racing (13.51 seconds) and Creek Young in bull riding (89 points)
