Dustin Egusquiza and Levi Lord may be a new team, but they seem to be gelling will already after winning the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. The pair made it to the Finals through the Wild Card Round and Egusquiza says the early struggles fell on his lap.
“I put us through some stress not roping good. We had to go through the Wild Card. Luckily we made a good run there.”
The pair may only have a few rodeos under their belts, but Levi Lord says their expectations remain high everywhere they go.
“We had pretty high expectations starting out, so to come here and win this prestigious rodeo, one of the best rodeos we go to during the year, it boosts our confidence and sets us up for the year.
The pair now both sit inside the Top 3 in the PRCA World Standings after their big win.
