Nevada’s Dakota Eldridge Throws a 3.6 to Lead Reno Rodeo Round 2

Dakota Eldridge is currently sitting No. 2 in the Reno Rodeo average after he was a 4.9 in Round 1 and a 3.6 in Round 2. The home state cowboy is leading Round 2 with that time by over half a second.

“It feels great to be here and to have my family up there watching, couldn’t ask for a better night,” he said.

Eldridge said his equine partner, the multi-time Steer Wrestling Horse of the Year, Tyson, made his job easy.

Eldridge is currently ranked No. 37 in the World, however, there is big money to be won over the summer run that gets started with Reno Rodeo. The nine-time National Finals Rodeo qualifier is no stranger to this game as he sets out with some of the best for the summer.
