National Western Stock Show and Rodeo: Bracket Two

Bracket Two of the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo is here and just like Bracket One, we have some of the best competing.

Louisiana’s Taylor Broussard is out in the bareback riding. He has drawn Big Rafter Rodeo’s Rockin’ Out in Round One and this will be a rematch for Broussard. The last time the two met was in Springhill, Louisiana and they marked 87 points.

The talent in the steer wrestling for Bracket Two does not go unnoticed. National Finals Rodeo qualifiers Bridger Anderson and Riley Duvall will be out while Tucker Allen is among their competition and currently leading the World Standings.

The team roping brings us a new duo. Dustin Egusquiza and South Dakota’s Levi Lord will roped together in Denver while World Champion Levi Simpson will be roping with fellow Canadian and young gun Logan Cullen.

In a stacked field of saddle bronc riders are Logan Hay and Kade Bruno. Both are fresh off their first NFR qualifications and riding a wave of momentum. As for the animal athletes you will see Big Rafter Rodeo’s Minnie Pearl and Tequila Sunrise.

The legendary Lisa Lockhart is out in the barrel racing. After finding her stride with the big grey, Levee, in Las Vegas, the question is who will we see her send down the alley? Tarryn Lee had some big wins in 2022 and although Denver was not one of them, it could be this year.

Creek Young is Bracket Two’s big name bull rider. In Round Two he has a rematch with Big Rafter Rodeo’s Another Day, Young has been 83 on the bull before.
