Miss Rodeo America Hailey Fredericksen Talks Role Models and Takeaways from 2022

Miss Rodeo America Hailey Fredericksen looks up to multiple women who have held the Miss Rodeo America crown before her. Among those are none other than Pam Minick and Jordan Tierney. They are two ladies who have gone on to do great things after the crown.

For Fredericksen, it comes down to what legacy you want to leave behind. She looks back at her time before taking the crown and says she has already learned so much in her time waiting patiently for her opportunity to reign.

On the lighter side of things, she laughs about the rodeo queen hair that probably isn’t real but she gives all the love to the hair wings.

“It adds to our charm. It’s kind of our visual, so yes, we do wing our hair out. It is an 80’s look, tease and hairspray, that’s all we do but to me, I think it allows our face to be more approachable,” she said.

As Miss Rodeo America, the hard part is done for Fredericksen by the Miss Rodeo America Committee, she has a huge support system in them and their sponsors.

Going forward, with just 2 months left of her reign, Fredericksen’s rewards and opportunities from being Miss Rodeo America are well worth it.
